Help refugee, immigrant torture survivors at our 15th anniversary fundraiser

Fifteen years ago, Utah Health & Human Rights was founded with one goal in mind — to provide healing and hope to refugee and immigrant torture survivors living in Utah.

Since then, we've provided free, integrative healthcare and case management services to thousands of torture survivors who couldn't access them otherwise.

Purchase tickets to our fundraiser here.

However, we need your support to continue giving torture survivors a safe place to heal — which is why we're inviting you to our 15th anniversary fundraiser.

Our friends and sponsors at Laziz Kitchen are hosting the event in their trendy, central Salt Lake location and serving up an array of delicious Middle Eastern fare. While you're sampling hors d'oeuvres, you can grab a drink and chat with us about how we can all help those who've fled war-torn countries and resettled in our hometown. The event will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, June 25, at the restaurant, which is located at 912 Jefferson St. W.

Every dollar of your $50 ticket will go toward critical services torture survivors need to overcome the impacts of trauma and lead healthy, fulfilling lives.

So, join us for an evening of food, drinks and good company while lending a hand to the new Utahns who need it most. We hope to see you there.

If you're unable to make it to the event, but would like to still help support our clients, you can make an online donation here
