Justice Forshee
Justice Forshee is an undergraduate student at the University of Utah studying political science with an emphasis in community involvement and non-profit leadership. She is also completing minors in social work and media studies. While obtaining an associate's degree at Salt Lake Community College, Justice worked as a case manager and medical assistant for three years and a drug court liaison and outreach case manager for two years. Prior to working in the non-profit sector, Justice ran a state senate campaign and participated in grassroots organizational work. She found her passion advocating for historically harmed communities, and that is how she found herself in social work. After graduating with a bachelor's degree, Justice wants to return to school for a dual master's degree in social work and public administration. As the Development and Outreach Assistant at UHHR, Justice is eager to provide strategic planning and organizational skills to the agency. This role includes preparing grant proposals for individual and foundational support, event coordination, donor and volunteer stewardship, updating social media, and creating newsletters.
